Meet The Team: Raymond Viloria

Raymond Viloria is the latest team member to join our Broadpoint team. As a Commercial Superintendent, Ray is responsible for maintaining the safety, quality, and day-to-day operations of commercial construction projects. We sat down with Ray to find out more about his role, his experience, and a few more interesting items.

Broadpoint: What did you do before coming to Broadpoint?
Ray: Prior to coming to Broadpoint, I worked for the general contracting division of a real estate developer in Washington D.C.  This company focuses primarily on multi-family properties but also performs a wide variety of commercial build-outs and renovations.

It’s only been a few weeks, but what do you enjoy most about working at Broadpoint?
I enjoy the team atmosphere.  Everyone is committed to the overall growth and success of the organization.

Outside of work, what do you enjoy doing?
I am an avid boater and enjoy sailing, fishing, and power boating as well. I make that last point because most boaters prefer either but not both. I also enjoy cooking, traveling, and sampling new cuisines from around the world.

What are your current projects?
One project is an industrial retrofit for a long-standing client in Millsboro and the other is a restaurant renovation at a location directly on the avenue in Rehoboth.

Broadpoint also does custom home construction. What are the must-haves for your perfect dream home?
I have 4 must-haves.  First, the kitchen and entertaining areas must be large and flow together seamlessly.  Second, the bedrooms must all have private baths and windows with electrically controlled draperies or window treatments.  Third, there must be an outdoor entertaining space that can be used year-round. An outdoor kitchen, built-in gas grill, and fire pit are essential elements. Finally, the architectural style and décor, inside and out, must be timeless.

What makes Broadpoint unique in your eyes?
Broadpoint is unique because they perform residential and commercial construction in a market somewhat saturated with residential home builders. There are not too many commercial construction companies in the area and this is a market that is rapidly expanding in the fastest growing county in the state.
